Red Roo delivered a SP7015Trx track stumpgrinder to Langham’s Tree Service.

Owner Jason Langham, a Certified Arborist, has been involved the the arbor industry for over 5 years and spent a considerable amount of time qualifying equipment suitable for his company’s expansion.

“We closely examined every machine on the market that offers a track and found that the Red Roo by Carlton represented the best value for money in its class,” states Jason. “The SP7015Trx absolutely smashed both the 3m diameter camphor laurel softwood stump and the 2.5m Blackbutt hardwood stump.”

Following the Queensland Arboricultural Association Arbor Camp held last October, Dan
and Leesa Wood of Dan the Treeman, took delivery of a new Red Roo SHP400 swivel head stump grinder. Selecting the right equipment is critical for any small business.

East Gippsland Tree Services Upgrades to SP4012

MELBOURNE, AUGUST 2008 - Red Roo Sales & Service Company Pty Ltd has delivered a SP4012 stump grinder to East Gippsland Tree Services.

Owner David Tarling bought the business just over eight years ago and one key asset of the company was a Carlton 2000-4 series stump grinder. "Our grinder would be close to 20 years old and has done thousands of stumps. It still runs and operates just fine,” states David.

McLeod Trees Takes Delivery of SHP400

Red Roo Sales & Service Co Pty Ltd has completed delivery of a SHP400 grinder to McLeod Trees.

With over 11 years of grinding experience, Shane Browne of McLeod Trees selected the SHP400 for a number of reasons.

“To start with, the Red Roo offered the 25hp Kohler engine and upgraded hydraulics,” says Shane.

When Mark Calvi, Managing Director of Ace Tree Management, required a short term increase in grinder capacity, he turned to Red Roo to help provide the solution.

The SP7015 was able to grind four large cypress stumps in under six hours. The largest stump was over 4m in diameter, 300mm high and was ground to a depth of 350mm in under 2.5 hours.
